Being the largest city in Georgia and among the top 50 largest US cities, Atlanta is home to a number of popular landmarks and tourist attractions. World of Coca-Cola

Founded in 2007, the World of Coca-Cola is a museum that showcases the history of the Coca-Cola Company. The museum includes exhibits about the secret formula, a 3D movie about a scientist that sets off with his assistant to find the formula for themselves, a fully functional bottling line that produces 8-ounce bottles for the guests, several rooms filled with vintage Coca-Cola machines and artifacts. The conclusion of the tour features a large room where guests can try 60 different favors from around the world and gift shop with exclusive merchandise.
Georgia Aquarium

The Georgia Aquarium, founded in 2005, is a 550,000 square foot aquarium that features some of the most prominent aquatic animals including beluga whales, whale sharks, stingrays, otters, penguins, dolphins, and many more. The aquarium contains seven different galleries, inhabited by the animals living in over 10 million gallons of fresh and marine water. These exhibits and galleries are appropriate for all ages, and include Tropical Diver, Ocean Voyager, Cold Water Quest, Southern Company River Scout, Dolphin Coast, Trust Pier 225, and Aquanaut Adventure: A Discovery Zone. The aquarium remains the largest aquarium in the Unite States and the third largest in the world.
Centennial Olympic Park

Centennial Olympic Park is a 22-acre greenspace that opened in 1996. The park has become a host to a diversity of events including concerts, fountain shows, family fun days, Fourth of July celebrations, Christmas light shows, and much more. The park is best known for Georgia's legacy of the 1996 Summer Olympics. On top of the events the park holds, it is the perfect place to take a walk and observe the lavish sculptures, gardens, and scenery.

There are several excellent places to visit in downtown Atlanta. This is just the beginning! Each one of these four places are family-friendly, and will allow you to make memories that will last a lifetime. These places were the birth of some of my favorite childhood memories.
